At 60, I’m Not Starting Over -I’m Starting From Experience

I used to think turning 60 meant slowing down. Now I see it differently. I’m not starting over – I’m starting from experience. Every mistake, every heartbreak, every success and every lesson has brought me to this chapter of my life.

There comes a point in life when you stop worrying so much about what you should have done and start asking what you still want to do. For me, that point is 60.

I’ve lived enough life to know that things rarely go exactly as planned. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve loved, lost, laughed, struggled, succeeded and started again. Some lessons came gently, others came the hard way, but they all taught me something.

That’s why I created Life, Love and Lessons. This is a place for real conversations about relationships, family, money, mistakes, starting again, getting older, and everything life teaches us along the way. I won’t pretend to have all the answers, but I do have a lifetime of experiences, and I’m still learning.

At 60, I’m choosing to look forwards. There are still places I want to see, people I want to meet, things I want to build and plenty of laughter still to come.

So no, I’m not starting over. I’m starting from experience. And this chapter might just be the best one yet.

Welcome to Life, Love and Lessons. Let’s grow through every season of life together.
