I’m a woman entering a new chapter of life with experience, stories, and plenty still to discover. At 60, I don’t believe life is winding down. In many ways, I feel as though I’m finally getting to know myself — not just as a mother, a grandmother, or through the many roles I’ve carried over the years, but simply as me.

Love, Life & Lessons: My Next Chapter is where I share the real conversations that come with this stage of life — love, relationships, family, ageing, starting again, mistakes, laughter, and the lessons we pick up along the way.

I don’t have all the answers, and I’m not pretending to. I’m simply sharing life as I see it now, with the benefit of experience and the curiosity to find out what this next chapter might bring.

A little about my life.

I’ve lived enough life to know that things rarely go exactly to plan. I’ve experienced love, heartbreak, motherhood, career changes, mistakes, difficult seasons, and fresh beginnings.

Some chapters I’m proud of, while others taught me lessons I never expected to learn.

Becoming a grandmother brought another beautiful change into my life. It reminded me that there is still so much to look forward to, and that getting older doesn’t mean becoming invisible.

We can still dream, laugh, love, change our minds, take risks, try new things, and begin again.

My next chapter.

Life doesn’t stop at 60. In many ways, it can open up in ways we never expected.

I’m learning to put myself first sometimes, to enjoy the little things, and to stay open to whatever life may still have waiting for me.

And yes, that includes love. I’m single. I still believe in romance, and I’m curious about what dating and relationships look like at this stage of life. I’m not looking for perfection — just genuine connection, laughter, companionship, and someone who actually likes me for who I am.

This blog is my place to talk about all of it honestly — sometimes seriously, sometimes thoughtfully, and sometimes with a little humour.
